Risk assessments had been developed to minimise the potential risk of harm to people during the delivery of their care. These had been kept under review and were relevant to the care provided. I have 2 young children and a dog and most of my spare time is taken up watching my son play football or my daughter swimming and dancing. I enjoy long distance walking, watching live comedy shows, listening to music, reading and solving puzzles.
A professional team of staff value each resident and work with residents’ friends and families to build lasting relationships and deliver dignified and passionate care. During the inspection the registered manager informed us they were in the process of carrying out other work for the registered provider. This was to improve the quality assurance systems within the registered provider’s homes. They explained there was a new manager in place at the Moorings who was receiving support from them, to ensure a smooth transition.

I have been with with the company for nearly 5 years and I have a track record of managing the delivery of care on to large care homes. Accommodation, meals, and assistance with personal care and medication. – the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve. – the service is performing well and meeting our expectations. The Moorings is our newest home, purpose built to the standard of a luxury hotel and is a lifestyle choice for the active resident who wants to reside in comfort.

This was a planned inspection based on the rating at the last inspection. I have been at The Moorings for just over a year and I can honestly say it’s the best place I have worked. Every care is taken to ensure the residents are treated as individuals and with care and respect.
They told us good staffing levels afforded people responsive and dignified support. Everything we do at Lakeview Luxury Residential Care Homes revolves around achieving excellence.
